THE CORRUGATED ALTERNATIVE

COOLER WRAPS were developed by PLASTILITE CORPORATION as an economical alternative to placing coolers inside boxes as mandated by some shipping companies.  They have gone through evaluation by UPS testing labs and have been found to be compatible within their system.  With prior approval, packages using COOLER WRAPS can be exempt from handling fees otherwise associated with non-boxed coolers.

OTHER ADVANTAGES

	Remove self-adhesive strip from center of film only.
Turn film over and attaché adhesive side to the approximate center of bottom of the cooler.  Turn cooler back over to pack.  If cooler goes through a conveyer or pick pack system simply put loose ends inside the open cooler until ready to seal.  Adhesive is not sensitive to moisture.
	When ready to secure lid, remove self-adhesive tab from one side and pull until snug and adhere to cooler.  Repeat step with other side and adhere to film.  After a short time the film on film adhesive will form a tamper proof seal.
Damages to most coolers in transit tend to come from the inside out due to shifting (and mostly heavier) payloads.  Though COOLER WRAPS actually add more direct support to 4 sides than a box, additional security for some products can be easily achieved by wrapping once or twice around the cooler ends with any packaging tape.
